Paul Thorpe is one of Seattle’s premiere door experts. While working as a finish carpenter he became obsessed with the challenge and precision of working with doors. Paul has invented many of his own tools to handle most any door challenge over his last 20+ years of experience . His work consists of hanging new doors, fitting new doors in old frames (a lost art that very few people do anymore), adjusting and customizing doors for a better fit, installing all types of hardware and locks-including the latest in security with multi-point locking systems. His work has been featured in the Seattle Times and he has had the pleasure of working in all kinds of homes, from the most luxurious view properties to townhomes and bungalows all over the city and surrounding areas. Paul is referred as a specialty installer by Sound View Windows and Doors on Queen Anne and for hardware and lock installation by Bulger Safe & Lock- both long-time NW institutions.
